Weis Receives Leadership Honor
From County Superintendents Group

SAN JOSE, CA – Charles Weis, Santa Clara County Superintendent of Schools, has received the 2009 Executive Leadership Award of the California County Superintendents Educational Services Association.

The award is made annually to the person who has made outstanding and significant contributions to the support of public education through leadership and vision.

“The CCSESA Executive Committee recognized your outstanding work as Santa Clara County Superintendent and previously as Ventura County Superintendent in selecting you for the award,” wrote David Gordon, Sacramento County Superintendent and CCSESA awards committee chair.

The award is to be presented on October 26 in Newport Beach, at the CCSESA General Membership dinner.
