Adoption of Aventa Online School Curriculum
for Court and Community School Programs

The staff of the Santa Clara County Office of Education’s court and community high school programs is recommending the selection of the Aventa online high school courses for student intervention and credit recovery.

The recommended instructional materials are available for viewing at the Learning Multimedia Center (LMC), 1290 Ridder Park Drive, beginning May 21 and continuing through the anticipated adoption date of June 3. The Aventa online course curriculum will be presented to the Santa Clara County Board of Education for review and adoption on June 3, 2009. 

The Board’s adoption of the online curriculum will allow the use of state textbook funds to purchase these materials.
